After completing embroidery trim away near to the design and dissolve the rest under a tap. Dry overnight 

For bowls and bells etc shape over a basin or glass and leave to dry. For extra stiffness leave some of the film in the design .

Small off cuts left over can be dissolved and used to stiffen fabrics or re-stiffen lace
