These are lovely for embroidering, a bold font will work best,  use tearaway or 35 micron clear soluble in the hoop, float the blanket and add a layer of 20 micron soluble on the top. pin all round and then add a basting stitch which will hold the layers steady while you stitch. Remove pins before embroidering and please make sure you have remove all pins at the end .
